A Moment of Rest

Tucked amid it’s urban surrounding, just off the dirt road, an overgrown landscape sits peacefully untainted by the outside world. Golden streams of evening light pour through intertwined branches, as we haul baskets, blankets and cameras into the open groves. From the edge of the plot, snuck between golden leaves, rays of the setting sun reflect off the sharp city skyline. It’s hard to believe this remarkable place exists just a 5 minute drive from inner southeast Portland.
